| My 3rd Jack in 3 years finally quit on me. I'm looking for a low profile (price really doesn't matter at this point) jack that will last me a long time! I have a US General (Harbor Freight... (yes, I know I just answered my own question as to why they don't last long) 4000lb capacity low profile, aluminum "racing jack" that I paid about $200 for 1 year and 1 month ago (it has a 1 year warranty, imagine that!). The seal was leaking, so I bought the part on harbor freight's website, replaced the seal, and it worked for 2 weeks.... I went to change the oil in my daily driver and the front (the other) seal is leaking. I'll fix it, but I'm still looking for a better jack. My father has a craftsman floor jack from the 1970's that he hasn't had to do a thing to and it's still working flawlessly. I'm looking at a snap-on one, but at $425, it's not cheap. Any other "reliable" options? Thanks in advance.
